New Materials and Chemical Nanotechnology
In the scope of the German program "WING-Materials Innovations for Industry and Society" the funding opportunities have been extented to R&D cooperation projects between industrial partners from both countries.The BMBF intends to provide support to German industrial companies for establishing bilateral R&D collaborations with Israeli enterprises; the respective Israeli companies will be supported by OCS/MOITAL. In addition, universities and non-university research establishments in the two countries are called upon to participate in the collaborative projects (2+2 projects).

Call for Proposals
1) Pre-proposals for joint projects under the framework of “NanoNature: Nanotechnologies for Environmental Protection – Benefits and Impact” can be submitted before 18.11.2008. For details of application see the announcement.
2) Innovative small and medium enterprises (SME) which intend to establish and/or strengthen their company in the field of (energy) efficiency technologies may apply for funding under a special SME initiative. Proposals can be delivered at any time, next review deadline is before 15.10.2008.
