  • Life Sciences

    The Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and the Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) have been cooperating in the field of Life Science and especially in cancer research since 1976. In 2000, following approximately 25 years of cooperation, collaboration in biotechnology was directed away from basic research and targeted towards practice-oriented projects involving Israeli research groups and German companies.

  • Further Fields

    Beside the main focusses of the bilateral cooperation in science and technology, there is also an intensive cooperation in vocational training. In 2006 a collaboration project in social sciences started on the topic of migration and societal integration.
