Umbrella Award: Call for Nominations 2024
Nominations for the Umbrella Award 2024 by Technion, RWTH Aachen University and Forschungszentrum Juelich can be subitted until 30 July. The award supports an exchange visit of young post-docs to a partner instititution in the other country. This year’s topic is ‘Advancing Energy Materials with State-of-the-Art Analytics and AI’.

Charité intensifies cooperation with Clalit Health Services

Saxony doubles funding for student exchange with Israel
Saxony’s Ministry of Science is doubling the funding for an exchange programme with the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In order to deepen bilateral relations between the Free State of Saxony and Israel, funding for the exchange programme will now be doubled from 15,000 euros to 30,000 euros.

The Alliance of Science Organisations in Germany supports the appeal of the Council of the Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities of 20 May 2024 to the international scientific community and strongly opposes calls for a boycott of Israeli researchers and Israeli scientific institutions.
