The keynote lecture ‘Images That Never Were – Generative AI as a Challenge for Historical and Political Education’ contextualises these images, describes the resulting challenges for historical and political education, and explores how we might address visual gaps in the culture of remembrance in future. The event is part of the virtual lecture series: ‘’ (events will be held in German).
The speaker, Clara Mansfeld, works at the Hamburg Memorials and Learning Sites Foundation, where, in the Public Relations Department, she is responsible for the strategic development and coordination of digital projects as well as digital communication. She has previously worked at various other memorial sites and was a research assistant at the European College of Friedrich Schiller University Jena from 2017 to 2020.
