Eureka Call on Applied Quantum Technologies

National funding bodies from 15 countries, including Israel and Germany, have allocated funding for organisations collaborating on international R&D projects in the field of applied quantum technologies.

You will be able to submit your project application for this call between 1 February 2024 and 9 May 2024. Your project consortium must include organisations based in a minimum of two of the countries listed in this call for projects.

This call for R&D projects may include topics such as (but are not limited to):

  • Quantum computing
  • Quantum simulation and stack levels
  • Quantum communications and cyber security
  • Quantum sensing and metrology

Your project should demonstrate the potential to research or develop a product, process or service for commercialisation.

Application

To apply, you will have to create an account on the Eureka application portal SmartSimple (one per consortium) and select the funding opportunity you want to apply to.

Germany (BMBF)
Successful projects will be invited to submit a full application in accordance with national guidelines. Additional documents are only required after a positive evaluation as part of the full application. Further information for German applicants.

Israel (Israel Innovation Authority)

In Israel, the Israeli partner will have to submit the National Application Forms through an online system in accordance with the Israel Innovation Authority regulations. Israeli evaluations and funding decisions are expected to be made in the third quarter of 2024.
