From 1 September 2024, scientists from Israel and abroad will be able to apply for an Advanced Studies fellowship in Jerusalem during the academic year 2026-2027. Residencies are open for either 10 months or 5 months. Application deadline is 1 December 2024.
The application phase for the Open Call for Constructive Advanced Thinking (CAT) Programme 2025 – 2027 is already open. The aim of the CAT initiative is to foster networks of excellent early-career researchers dedicated to devising new ideas to understand and to tackle current or emerging societal challenges. The submission deadline for this funding measure is 15 September 2024.
The Open Call for Individual Fellowships 2026-2027 and the Open Call for Research Groups 2026-2027 will open on 1 September 2024. Researchers from Israel and abroad with a tenured position will be able to apply for either 5 or 10 month residencies. Application topics may cover any research area from any discipline. Successful applicants will stay at the Israel Institute for Advanced Studies (IIAS), located at the Edmond J. Safra Givat Ram campus of The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
